I don't mean to be rude - I just cannot remember his name (too many Y's). But let's be honest - his standing ovation in the Commons was just MP's praising a great performance. He's a good communicator. But does that necessarily mean he's a good leader? I think a decent President would have stopped the Civil War years ago. Or am I missing something? Are there no Russian supporters (if not, why have 100,000 Ukrainians fled to Russia?). Was there no war in two regions? If Scotland was killing the English, even BOris or bloody Theresa would have put an end to it in days. All this is because I do not trust media. It lies (yes, even here). We ALWAYS exaggerate. We ALWAYS have an agenda. I think Russia has a point and it's not just Putin. There are arguments on both sides. I wouldn't be surprised if more Ukrainian Russian separists haven't died over the past 8 years than Ukrainians have died over the last two weeks.

It was MPs signalling they are on the side of the angels. You have to signal now or you are on the dark side; on all issues. It is a substitute for thought. Perhaps I am too cynical....
