I am absolutely horrified that what we must assume is a fairy tale (because we are all innocent until proven guilty) was used to persuade the jury to convict someone else.

Savile was listed alongside convicted child attackers to demonstrate that just because someone is a dj and of good character doesn't mean they are not a paedophile.

We might just as well not bother with court at all because this is beyond ludicrous!

It's absurd, but probably an effective approach by the prosecution. It does sound as if this individual had left an electronic and financial trail, however.

There seems little doubt in this case, but the next person might be innocent.
