I still get constant messages from visitors who remember my prediction that the News of the World would shut down. Likewise that Max Clifford would suffer Karma. Likewise stupid Brexit and stupid Covid. I don't blame the media - like the Scorpion and the Frog - it's its nature.
Ukraine. Hyped by the media which really needs a good story. Huge building bombed by Russia - one person killed.
Oh, really.
And the gullibles fall for it every time; we simply haven't got the time or the inclination for depth of thought this century.
So now it's Open All Borders (to Ukrainians). Allow them in; house them and don't forget to clap on Thursdays (or was that something else?).
No visa required.
I predict - amongst these new arrivals will be several terrorists who will settle in nicely and, in a few months time, will either bomb Parliament or blow up Buckingham Palace or will annihilate Derry Street or the BBC.
You wait and see. A massive, Twin Towers disaster in London in 2022. And when it happens the media won't say - it was all our fault.
They will blame government for not checking security.
Delightfully predictable as will be this forum when I will say...

And can anyone explain why we are doing this for Ukrainians when we weren't doing it for Rohingyas or Yemenis or many others suffering far worse than this lot? Could it be due to media hype? And is that, in turn, because Ukrainians are whiter than the others?

There is a five minute NEWS piece on how a pregnant mother and her baby are both dead in Ukraine. This shows how appalling the war is! Thank heavens no pregnant mothers ever die in the UK, let alone their babies. Thank heavens. Please note; I am NOT saying it is something to be ignored when anybody dies. But can't people see the media exaggeration? God almighty punters will be out banging saucepans next.
