News People 3 Years, 4 Months ago
I posted this by mistake on the Tipsheet board where it has already had 400 views in 5 minutes. So I thought I'd copy it here.

The vast majority of news readers on TV and radio are just that - readers. So, in a serious situation when they have to ask questions, they are completely confused like brain dead boxers. Since most are female, only booked because of their looks after much makeup, and even on radio and in the press, simply employed because, these days, they MUST be women, this discrepancy can be excruciating. Don't get me wrong - many ladies are fine and some are great. But the majority are sim ply unable to think or speak in depth. During this "war" as before with Covid and Brexit and others, the majority ask stupid questions and are totally phased when they get answers like YES or NO. You can see/hear their brains whirring in desperation like birds.

Well you see, a couple of people complained about Eammon Holmes being insensitive so this is what we are left with.

Many talking heads are too emotionally unhinged.

we've always known this JK..especially if you worked in the media.

I find the vast majority of talking heads, journalists very prejudicial which is bizarre..one would think they see more of life so should be a tad ore enlightened but they seem to become far fixed in often ill thought out beliefs.

A shining example of this was the Sir Jimmy Savile matter where Britain's media leapt upon claims and devoured them like ravenous dogs with just a few enlightened souls speaking up but being bullied into silence.
