Obesity is up 36% since lockdowns. I wonder if this will kill far more over the generations (as parents perpetuate it in children) than however many deaths Covid brought forward a few months..?

No matter how hard parents try, they seem to be sabotaged by most nurseries shoving biscuits, fake juice and puddings at the children for no reason.

I agree with this to a point but think you are not putting enough emphasis on the parents; we have never struggled to ensure the treats with our kids are only an adjunct to a healthy and balanced diet. I know it is easier for some than others; but the only solution comes from individuals - top down never works.

I never understood squash and juice. Its nothing but artificial sugar and sweeteners.

I always go to a German doctor as the German drug companies develop the best pharmaceuticals & being Germanic & practical they don't moralize like British doctors & give you a morality lecture over taking an aspirin.
