Kenneth Williams Diaries 3 Years, 3 Months ago
Just finished re-reading the Kenneth Williams Diaries - I first read the book 20 years ago (how time flies). Still a brilliant book and Kenneth was a very interesting man and of course complicated. I also found the Joe Orton Diaries a good read also.

He probably was the austic spectrum which was known at the time or he was just a very depressed man like who was born with depression Spike Milligan or Screaming Lord Sutch.

A great man and today (15th April) is 34 years since we lost him

also on 15th April we lost Arthur Lowe in 1982 who appeared on Pebble Mill the day before he died
he was taken ill not long after his appearance.

and Tommy Cooper who passed away live on TV on Live From Her Majesty's back in 1984.

R.I.P. to all three

I am not familiar with Arthur Lowe work apart from Dads Army. I loved his dead pan delivery.
