Madness - predominantly caused by stupid Brexit - wasn't it obvious? Couldn't a five year old with a half working brain seen this was coming?
Madness - people scheduling trips during this period. Why not a day earlier or later? With return likewise? Surely any company would understand, balance, allow schedule changes? Any schools? Universities? NHS?

Transportation is largely affected by staff lay-offs during the pandemic. Because of the relatively low remuneration in this business (airlines etc.), and unsocial hours, most have moved on to new employment, and it has proved virtually impossible to replace them.

Another factor (one of the many) is the failure of technology. To cope efficiently, for example, with luggage processing at airports. And to deal with arrivals and departure requirements involving security, passporting, documentation etc.

Stupid over reaction to Covid. Stupid votes for stupid Brexit. The British have totally brought these things upon themselves.
