Elvis - brilliant 2 Years, 11 Months ago

Loved this film. The kid playing Elvis is perfect; not an imitation but captured the character. Tom Hanks superb as always. Colonel Parker was fantastic - and disastrous. Baz Luhrmann deserves massive kudos for wonderful script and direction. A clever, entertaining and honest movie. Loved every second of it.

No never did; don't think he'd have been my kind of person (by the time I was in a position to meet him - remember - I was some years younger than him - even younger than my contemporaries - Beatles, Stones etc; I was the "baby" of 1965.
