Why are they showing this on tv, only tory mps have a say in the outcome up to the last 2, then 80,000 tory party members, for which I am not one.

Liz Truss is Cosplaying Margeret Thatcher, from the hairstyle to the voice, even riding in a tank. Tom Tugendhat and Kemi Badenoch, seem to be the only half-decent candidates. Altogether it's a shower of mediocracy.

The priorities for me are cutting down the NHS waiting list, and levelling up, and building those 40 hospitals that they were voted in, on.

Good point Robbie. The outcome is the only thing that is of concern to the public, and then only minimally given the cigarette paper differences in policies between the Tory candidates and indeed the Tory candidates and the Labour party.

We can give our judgment (if we consider it worth the effort) come the election.

Equally the BBC in particular needs to stop giving so much air time to this non democratic question.

I don't watch any of it; and can't understand why anyone would.

The UK is following USA Robbie with these PM debates.

Debates are always on TV over there regardless of the subject matter.

Because the newly elected Tory leader will become Prime Minister, people want to see what's in store for them.

You think this is unpredictable then? Or that there will be a difference of any significant magnitude to people's lives between them? I am astonished.
