Two tick offs of Mr K in a week - Honey you are spoiling me!
On a serious note, I think JK's work and success in "the biz" speaks volumes to an appreciation of what entertains the many, not necessarily himself.
The films are, understandably, more personal beneath the satire.
I think that sometimes an inward focus adds depth through idiosyncrasy; even if it may limit the audience.
Such are the choices we make...
I wasn't ticking him off.

He wouldn't have asked if he didn't want an opinion. Not that I am deluded enough to believe that he is especially interested in
mine.
There is nothing wrong with producing art which is only an expression of yourself, and hooray for that, but if you actually want someone to listen, or buy it, you are probably going to have to modify the content.
For instance, Mr King's first film would have reached a lot more people if he had not included the song about buggering boys.
Now, "WE" know the song doesn't actually mean that, and it is made clear to anybody who listens.
Only, an awful lot of people didn't listen, because they were put right off by the title, and it confirmed their assumptions.
Sadly, (in my view) these are the sort of people who would have benefited from learning about the false allegation industry.
But maybe to Mr King it was more important to include it and blow getting viewers?
I support that too.
One of the reasons I am a huge fan of Mr King's music is that it is straight to the point, punchy, and he does not succumb to what I call "upyourselfitis" where artists, in the belief that they can do no wrong, indulge in lengthy rambling dirges that ooze with smugness and bore us to death.
