Interesting. This woman clearly believes that false allegations are “vanishingly rare”.
Does she not consider people like Carl Beech, Peter Saunders, Jemma Beale to be the tip of a vast iceberg?
Does she not think that sometimes sex crimes were NOT crimes? Even if they did take place, could it have been with the full co-operation of the “victim”? Even provoked and caused by “the victim”?
Can she not see that as morality changes, so attitudes may change?
When some things are easily seen - like pornograohy - due to communication changes, that people may be edged into considering something acceptable which is not? Or that some have different moralities to others?
I remember in the 1960s that I considered telling a girl you loved her when you didn’t, simply in order to have sex, was wrong - and could even be considered rape. Most of my friends (male and female) thought I was mad.
Times change. Morality changes. Media changes. The law changes.
These days if a parent bathes a child it can be considered abuse.
