TOPIC: King Charles III

King Charles III 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Well prepared after so many decades awaiting Coronation.

His monarchy will be different, and change the status quote.

A smaller Royal Family - and fewer visits to Africa ect.

Where our nation was complicit in the slavery business.

How do you know he is well prepared just because of a time period? Obviously his monarchy will be different. Why do you assume the Royal Family will be smaller and visit Africa less?

Prepared, because no other monarch has served such a long apprehensiveship.

Smaller because some family members have been dismissed from their Royal duties.

Many African countries have become disillusioned with our slavery involvement.

Where the East India Company (and others) organised slavery - on behalf of our government.

Its seems unlikely now that the countries - which provided the human stock, via our ships - will be so welcoming in future.

As Will and Kate experienced recently.

Do you mean where our country did more than any other to END slavery, Barney?

Up until only a few years ago OUR taxes were still being used to pay off the massive loan we burdened ourselves with to ensure people's freedom.

Take your hair shirt and sack cloth underpants off for goodness sake, Barney, and hold your head up!
