Theresa May and Harriot Harmon gave the best speeches of the day in my view. Why didn't she show any of that humour whilst she was pm. Liz Truss's was fine, but a bit bland and wooden, Starmers was good, but he needs to face the camera more whilst speaking. I think Charles may have a problem with the right wing media. His previous interest in climate change is somehow regarded as being left wing by some.

Yes. And showed up the stumbling moron who usurped him.

Totally agree about Theresa May; she was wonderful (and an appalling PM and Home Sec).

Robbbie seems a spectrum.

Keir has no good traits he just reminds of any other lawyer I have met in the day. Keir wanted Boris to be more tougher lockdowns and vaccine mandates despite having a party himself. I didn't get the jabs, I got Covid and recovered within a few weeks.

The man has the biggest carbon footprint than the rest of us, not forgetting he has globalist connections. He will push the bug eating furthermore on to us, whilst he tucks into a steak.

Climate change is a just way to tax the public, if you go to Florida take a boat trip, you will see mansions right near the sea or lakes, the mansions are owned by Hollywood A-listers. If they were worried by flooding then why live that close by the water?

Florida isn't below sea level, and climate change is slow, Hollywood A-listers (who are they these days?) could easily buy another house when the water levels rose too high. If climate change isn't real then why are the hottest summers ever, all concentrated in the last few years? Flooding in Pakistan, in the UK, forest fires in Australia. You might be right and it isn't real, or maybe 95% of scientists could be right.

You recovered in weeks, yeah I had 3 jabs and recovered in two days. 95% of people who are currently dying from Covid are those that haven't had the vaccine.

Not only are they rich, but often they are stupid too. Remember Paul Daniel's thameside house getting flooded a few years ago

I just can't catch it. Or at least if I have it has remained asymptomatic or undetectable on a lateral flow test. All my colleagues at work have had it and it has been through my house/family twice. I share a bed with a two-time Covid cough machine...

Funny, where I live the weather didn't get passed low 30's. flooding in Pakistan could be caused by building on flood plains the population has boomed within the last 30 years. forest fires caused by bbq, arsons, car backfiring. There needs to be a source to cause forest fires. Climate changes all the time once upon the time the planet was pretty much a lava then moved to the ice age.

A-listers lets say Hollyweird actors.

So you still got it.

When I had Covid it didn't stop me doing what I love doing in my spare time such as hunting.

You die with Covid not from it. Unless you have a shit immune system in your twilight years. If I got Covid how comes I didn't die?

I know people who had the vaccine and now how health issues they didn't before. It's not Covid related illnesses.

As a big vaccine fan (getting my 5th this week) I think it protects against serious symptoms. Likewise the flu jab.

You know more about celebrities than I do. I don't remember Paul Daniels house getting flooded and why would I? Personally, I found the man to be an utter bore even off screen.

I hate magicians full stop Robbie. I was forced to see David Copperfield because I was invited, I did acquiesce myself out of politeness, but I found the whole show a chore to sit through, when Copperfield got a standing ovation, I remained seated, and he gave an evil glare. Which I found very amusing. The man's ego has no limits.

I hated Seigfried and Roy because they were exploitive to animals. When Roy was attacked by a tiger, I did have a good laugh to myself when I saw it on the news. Their acts were old hat by the mid 90's.

I hate Las Vegas but I always went to see close friends, they loved it. I like Hawaii but I feel guilty afterwards because I feel it's a waste of time sitting by the pool side doing nothing. I like to be doing things, I enjoyed Alaska and go on bear trails or do some salmon fishing or sit by a river and watch bears do it for hours.

Re:Boris Johnson's finest hour 2 Years, 9 Months ago
When the Tory MPs assassinate Boris, I resigned my membership of the party and I told my local MP (Rishi Sunak) he had behaved dishonourably and had lost my vote.
The membership (not the MPs) who had voted Boris in, were not consulted. A poll of the membership, taken after Boris had been forced to resign, showed that the majority of the membership of the party still wanted to keep Boris as leader.
Rather stupidly, the Tory MPs had allowed themselves to be spooked by media stories, and had shot themselves in the foot (yet again).

I'm probably the only Tory on this message board, but I'm used to being a small voice.
Adversity brings the best out of Boris Johnson.

Ah Bill Burroughs...the kind of writer we think is a genius when we are sixteen; but I would rather read a Jeffrey Archer novel these days...

I never said Burroughs was a genius, personally I found Naked Lunch unreadable. I am not huge fan of novels, I would rather read nonfiction. My partner won't let me have the Genesis book she ordered for me until Christmas.
