Yet again we see Media Man Paddington having success as media carries the latest anti-Russian, pro-Ukraine propaganda. Torture and deaths? Wicked Russians. Nuclear power station damage? Evil Russians.

I'm no fan of Putin or Russia although I loved the country and people of Moscow on my one visit there, years ago. But this coverage of the war is SO one-sided it stinks of a media manipulator, like Boris and Trump, knowing that the public can be fooled all of the time if played correctly.

Just as in Russia, where Putin controls and manipulates local and national media. But has notability at all to use global media.
Zelensky is far more of a modern media manipulator and is doing so amazingly successfully. It's not just assistance from the West a country needs but public support too.

Russia should never have invaded Ukraine, however justified they may have felt. Even if the majority in the Donesk region wanted to be Russian, military invasion was NOT the answer.
Violence, killing, death is never valid - except in extreme circumstances.
So Hitler's intentions - rightly attempted to be rejected - eventually required force.

History has painted Chamberlain as a coward and Churchill as a hero. Far from the truth but when is simplification of media ever true?

The vast majority of us punters are happy to accept the caricatures. We believe in Paddington, not in Ben Whishaw. Or Zelensky.

Ultimately, I am starting to wonder if nuclear Armageddon for us all is coming and the media (reflecting the simplicity of the majority) will be the primary cause...

They should be having peace talks and may have to concede Crimea. Ukraine have made some advances, Russia will just regroup and attack again, they massively outnumber Ukraine. The idea that Russia will continue and take over Poland, Sweden etc. is fancifle. They are not a rich country and not very well organized. Putin will accept any vague concept of some minor victory

I get the awful feeling that the US dies not want this conflict to end. That what we are seeing is a proxy war between the US and Russia (with little cheeping Truss hopping up and down and joining in).

This could I suspect all be ended if The West would compromise and look at an acceptable package to all; taking into account the people in these regions who do wish to be part of Russia.
