My heart goes with little Ellie - wonderful to see her win any being good, not by being small. The other Ellie seems to have a good personality; ditto the fat girl. Liked the gay Radio Two guy (natural rhythm) and terrific new Pro - the Chinese dancer. It's going to be good.

My thoughts exactly, I think Ellie Simmons is going to bring us to tears this autumn. Matt Goss will be interesting, a very vain man, but probably quite shy underneath. Tony Adams should be fun, and it will be interesting to see the radio 2 guy, teamed up with a male non-gay dancer. I hope it doesn't become obligatory that because someone is gay, they have to have a dancer of the same sex. Julian Clary, Julian Macdonald, and Susan Calman were quite happy to have partners of different sex.

Well, both Ellies did great; the Chinese guy is terrific as anticipated but Will Mellor stole the show; I bet everyone knew by half way through Vida Loca he was tonight's champ. Strictly is great every time.

I was the first person ever to hear the Ricky Martin hit - sitting in Donny Ienner's office in NYC when the tape arrived - "Let's hear it" said Donny. We both gasped at the end. "A Tipsheet Record of the Year I think?", he said. "I must agree" I answered.

Show 2 - I am still keen on Ritchie and the new Chinese professional is so good - his partner Molly should be delighted.

Tony Adams has to go, surely. Seems a nice guy with no rhythm whatever.
