Let me just explain what I suspect MAY be happening here. MWT has seen the False Allegations Industry suffer a number of losses (Cliff, Gambo, my own 2018 trial) and is aware that liars and even Enablers can end up in jail (Carl Beech; Jemma Beale etc).
The gold mine he found (Savile) is drying up. He's not making any money from it.
The secret is - it needs to be a VERY famous person and, to really capitalise, they need to be dead.
So he's spreading the word that a national treasure - when they die - will be exposed as a paedophile.
Useless Police and CPS failed to prosecute them in their lifetime (like Savile - an innocent man until dead).
So he's doing the ground work for a celebrity - lining up liars who are perfecting their stories - making sure details fit in ("he really WAS in that city, doing a concert or attending some event") so, when they die (and they may now be in their 80s) he can interview them and get it on TV, in the tabloids and everywhere - winning awards, getting praised (like he does for the ghastly, dishonest Savile EXPOSURE show) and, most important - making a fortune.
He might even then get back the girl he left his wife for!
I stress; I know nothing. But that is my suspicion.
In an ideal world it would be a global celebrity (more money). But he'll settle for a UK one (as Savile was).
If I'm wrong I apologise to Mark Williams Thomas in advance of his hugely successful TV EXPOSURE.
And I'm sad to hear about the split with his wife but I'm sure he's enjoying life as a brilliant Podcaster and a happy bachelor boy.
One thing I do know about the Mirror article. I know who " Angie" is and I know her original claim (I have them them all safely stored) bares no resemblance to this "new" story.
No but Sue did tell me that one of the Duncroft girls did eventually have a relationship with Jimmy that was very pleasant although he was rather shy "a bit like a schoolboy". I think she DID give evidence somewhere and has always been very supportive about him and is certain he never did anything illegal or wrong with anyone.
Reading MWT's statement - does he really think that someone who may not have had a similar relationship (in this case a future King with a brain dead Sloane) cannot give advice? It certainly seems that MWT's marriage was not the perfect example of someone able to have a relationship.
And that vile, slippery "I don't blame Charles" shit. Apart from being patronising rubbish, MWT is, of course, entitled to assume anything about anyone - as we are about him. But it's so safe when his victim is dead. A Court of Law cannot find Jimmy Savile or Princess Diana innocent or guilty of anything.
It can, however, find MWT innocent or guilty - as it did in the Blackmail case (and anybody reading the detail of that may well decide the jury got it wrong).
And the Court of Public Opinion can also turn on a sixpence, just like the media.
When the media decides MWT is a bad man and even, possibly, that the Savile scandal was the result of a cynical plot to make money from destroying the reputation of a dead celeb - it can swing round in seconds.
Even MWT's supporters (Mirror/Reach group and ITV) can decide to switch sides.
Yes the prospect of another Savile sized shark attack on another dead celeb is a hugely attractive idea. Yes MWT definitely knows how to orchestrate a trouble free EXPOSURE. But equally as attractive to media - especially if the victim is alive - is an even bigger scandal than the one carried in the Mail 4 years ago.

I'm certain - without knowing the facts - that he's setting up another Savile EXPOSURE type for after the death of a celebrity who police have decided is NOT a Vile Pervert.
Now let me be clear. He may be totally honest about this. He may genuinely feel he will expose this celebrity in due course.
But if that IS the case, why isn't he pushing it now? He seems happy enough to point the finger at living celebs (Rolf/Cliff etc) before they were charged.
Answer - they could (and would) sue him.
Also it's perfectly possible his "celebrity" is indeed guilty of something that was a crime at the time - like being gay or having sex with a male somebody of 20 or 19.
In which case, it's no story when that national treasure kicks the bucket.
It would only be a story if the National Treasure was forced or pushed into sex against their will (lack of consent).
But in that case why don't they go to police now? Perhaps they have and police have decided it's rubbish.
Or it could be they were under 16 at the time (no consent involved at that age).
But then they would have mentioned that already.
So my thinking is - MWT has found boys or girls willing to lie about anybody but especially about a National Treasure after he or she dies - because then they (and MWT) would be safe for prosecution or investigation.
I'm sure that's what Carl Beech thought (or was told to think by bent media people) when he accused dead people (including Jimmy Savile).
All this is only suspicion. But if anyone could set something like this up, it would be MWT. He's an investigator. He has Police Contacts. He has media contacts.
And it worked SO WELL with Jimmy Savile.
A decent man who raised millions for charities and who brought happiness to many miserable people.
But was dead and therefore could not be libelled.
And anyone trying to prosecute people assisting the false accusers would be told they claimed they "believed" the "victim".
Except it doesn't always work. Just ask Carl Beech.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone was quietly examining any contacts of MWT's who might have been persuaded to give him an interview after a National Treasure's death who might, like Carl Beech, not be aware of the crime Attempting To Pervert The Course Of Justice.

There's a comment on the "Support Justice for Rolf Harris" Facebook page from someone saying he's seen a name mentioned and that people would be shocked if they heard it. So it sounds as if a name is already being bandied around (which makes sense, of course, how else can one drum up allegations?!).

Those two women knew Jimmy more than anyone, more than MWT claims to know.

NO ONE can truly say what kind of person he was.
He will never be proved guilty because he's dead you simply can't
say he was, of course many people will always have their suspicions
but you can't have a television documentary and a former police
detective combined with the media say he is guilty.
Benefit of the doubt yes suspicions yes but not guilty cos there
was no trial and a media trial isn't proof of guilt just speculation.
So back to the video, just watching that you see people who knew
the real Jimmy Savile not MWT's depiction. They knew him best.
Nice to read this analysis and to confirm, YES we knew him best. There a lot of us and throughout the last 10 years of horror that we've lived through, I've found that 100% of us who really knew him, do not recognise the monster that has been created by the media. Many of us are worn out, exhausted and have tried to move on with a heavy heart.
At the risk of repeating myself, I have only ever needed one piece of credible evidence or one credible witness to take me back to a normal life, like the one I had previous to his death. Normal life changed 29 October 2011 at 11.20am. As for 3 October 2012, less said about that the better.
I went to a talk given by Mark Williams-Thomas a few years back, through the events booking site, Funzing. When I arrived at the venue, which was a university hall in London, my water bottle was impounded. On the desk I saw that there was a list of all of us who had bought tickets, with our full email addresses! There was an implied threat, don’t get too uppity we know who you people are.
Williams-Thomas reminds me of Paul Burrell, the butler of Diana, Princess of Wales. He kept on writing books, and announced that he still had another book to write, revealing an extraordinary secret about Diana. The police visited Burrell, and he ‘fessed up, that he had nothing new to say. And that’s how it is with our Mark, he is trying to stay relevant and a celebrity whilst finding ever diminishing returns.
If he really does know that there is a celebrity, whose private life once they are dead will shock the nation, then why doesn’t he name them? He named bloody everyone else!
Well, I’ll tell you what I’m looking forward to, as his stock falls, just to pay those bills he will be just like Burrell prostituting and degrading himself on reality television shows. I believe that the ex-butler is returning to I’m A Celebrity All Stars. I remember last seeing him on a late night reality show called Trust Me, I’m A Holiday Rep. So, you heard it here first. However boring or dull your job is, stacking shelves or filling mail bags, just remember at least you haven’t been reduced to a failed star turn. Believe me, my finger will be on that redial button when I have the opportunity to get Mark to eat kangaroo gonads.
