I know you'll think I'm biased (Charterhouse) and most of the NHS hates him but I reckon he'll be a very good Chancellor and will shortly be crowned as PM. Since I backed him against Boris, I'd be delighted.

His communist Chinese attitude towards lockdowns and mandates will never be forgotten.
Yes he was among the worst of the Panicdemic idiots; I believe he suggested separating children with Covid from their families at one point....
Yes, he did Wyot.
The man is a cretin.
I guess seems balanced and reasonable is the key word. You have to be unbalanced and unreasonable to suggest such a revolting thing.
I change my opinion! He is a word that rhymes with his surname, and should not be forgiven for his part in the Covid terror campaign. It cost - and is costing - many needless lives.

It is not essential or even desirable to agree the whole time, but Mr King, you spent the best part of two years ranting about the nutters enforcing lockdown and now you want to put the absolute worst of them in charge of the economy when all the evidence indicates that he is not right in the head!

Yes Honey - he was totally (if understandably) wrong about lockdown as was most of the rest of the world, as media told us it was a killer plague whereas it was just a very nasty new disease, lethal to the elderly and vulnerable. On the other hand, like me he was a retainer. Like Boris he probably broke lockdown laws (and got away with it). We've all got faults. But he strikes me as pretty well balanced when it comes to making dec visions about the economy.
