Peter Eckersley was the "Kenny Everett" of 1922 - I was at Cambridge with Toby Eckersley who I adored - he started every single debating speech at the Cambridge Union in the 1960s with "No matter what the subject I always talk about homosexuality". Remember in those days it was illegal.
Could he have been a relation? If anyone knows - tell me.

Fawlty Towers, Porridge, The Good Life, Only fools and Horses, Victoria Wood on TV, Life on Earth, Tomorrows World, Grange Hill, Top of the Pops, Horizon, Arena, Line of Duty, Doctor Foster, World cups, Wimbledon, even Entertainment USA etc. etc. Take a bow GB News, Talk Tv, Sky Tv, and all those channels that are trying to bring down the bbc, which despite all its faults is a National Institution.
