The make or break moment. Boris was terrific at PMQs - annihilated the appalling Starmer. Sadly Boris was dreadful at most else. Truss has a big problem. Despite being brilliant at climbing the slippery pole of politics (she's become Prime Minister with no brain whatsoever!), she's absolutely useless at communication, looking and sounding like a drugged Stepford Wife. She simply does not have a brain to think on her feet (or at all, come to that). So she'll bleat prepared answers to any questions - with that extraordinary two second pause before delivering each answer as the mind grinds into gear ("which answer shall I give?"). I'm not sure I can watch PMQs. Like bullfighting and the torture of innocents, I fear this will be unbearable. As in Bear Baiting.

She did OK mainly because the opposing questions were so predictable and so useless. "Reply with short soundbites"she has been instructed. "I'm a fighter not a quitter". Keep it simple.
The woman is quite dreadful.
Ed Davey asked the question that threw her off course and she answered with her prepared (to a different question) answer about energy.

She said she will protect the triple lock on pensions. The cabinet this morning was holding Hunt's line on Monday that they can't guarantee this. Unbelievable incoherence and incompetence. She needs locking up...
