This problem is definitely, only, totally and solely the responsibility of Boris Johnson.
By lying to the EU - disgraceful - and setting up the Northern Ireland protocol - shocking - he guaranteed this situation.
We ought never to have had Brexit. It is simply illegal on the island of Ireland without total borders. Northern Ireland voted against Brexit.
But the UK decided to have Brexit. As a result we have to go back to the old stupid borders.
There CANNOT be a border between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The DUP can veto any power sharing agreement in Northern Ireland - between the Republicans (Sinn Fein/IRA) and the Loyalists (DUP/UDF).

Elections therefore are irrelevant, as the Republican majority will just be vetoed again. Complete impasse - and a waste of time. Rishi needs to think.

Currently the UK Exchequer pays over £1000,000,000 (billion) every MONTH - just to pay NI's bills; similar to the interest on our National Debt.
