Just error I am sure but why are they messing about doing "victim" stuff on their website when they could be policing on the street and preventing crimes and future victims?

At what point did we all just accept that the Police now only react (*) rather than have a duty to prevent? Prevention was a central tenet of Robert Peel's "Peelers".

* and then only react to threats to life & limb or hate speech? *
