We should all support the Buddhist monks and their peaceful protest demonstrations.

Agree.

I wonder how long the ruthless military leadership would have remained had all those countries now calling for them to go - not actually traded with them in the past (the UK for example !)

If China lives up to its promise of democracy and progress it should back the protests and stop backing the military dictatorship.

I hate what's going on in Burma. I hate what's gone on in Iraq. I hate what went on in Africa (the genocides). I hate the murders in Serbia/Croatia.
I'm really beginning to despise the human race.
