What other surprises are in store? If you bring a pet over from abroad it has to be in quarantine and vaccinated. When I went to Mongolia, South Africa and Japan, I was advised strongly to be vaccinated to try prevent exotic diseases and illnesses.

You will like Mongolia Wyot and I do suggest going there. Do be careful though, I had an existential crisis over there.

Given the state of the NHS GM I am advised it is better now to have these sorts of things abroad anyway; or if an ex cabinet minister, on a reality television show...

The government, RNLI, Border Force and charities haven't got a clue who they have let in or what viruses and illnesses these people are carrying.

You thought lessons would of been learnt from Covid buy we know that was a planned.

We were nearly all vaccinated against it as babies. (Not me, my mother was staunchly anti-vax) So it is only a problem for newcomers, who can also be vaccinated in the unlikely event that they are not already. They make it sound like nowhere else has a vaccination programme.

I take it monkey pox didn't cause the panic intended?
