Thanked him for my birthday present this week and asked if I'd be pushing it for another Morocco win today. He said he'd see what he could do. Then I asked if he could throw in an England win. I know it's really bad manners to keep asking but he seems a pleasant enough lady. Then he smiled and asked "and what if both win; what result do you want for the semi final?". "Ah", I replied, "it's a win win situation for me then".

One of the great things about this World Cup has been even when a team loses (Brazil) the best players can score brilliant goals like Neymar and Holland's second goal. Wonderful to watch.

So what do I feel about today? Sadly though Morocco's defence has been superb they don't seem to have much scoring skills (having said that, they destroyed Spain in the shootout). And England veer between superb and awful (sometimes in the same game). Fingers crossed for both.
