Dog walker mauled. 2 Years, 5 Months ago
I have been following this story, however why have they blamed the biggest dog? Normally the biggest dog is the docile and smallest ones are the aggressive types.(small dog syndrome)
It's a very tragic event.

Dogs are social animals but love being in packs but their own packs. Why would anyone walk 8 dogs that have probably not been socialised with each other and the dog walker? It's like horses you don't throw a horse in a well established herd.

If there is was Dachshund or two in that pack they give small bites and but give ones deep bites and they don't always stop and carry on. They can take down deer.

Smallest dogs are normally the alpha in packs.

I know a couple with multiple dogs and breeds without any issues.
However their Staffie/Jack Russell is very a jealous and envious one. Tt was mm's away from nipping my face. I got up at the right time. It's about the same size of 6 month year old kitten but has a sharp set of choppers and very muscley.

I have 2 Chows (I am certain one is cross breed with a Newfoundland). I remember getting them as puppies without knowing the breed well. As soon as I got them I went to puppy school because I know Chows can be vicious if not socialised and trained well from pups like Japanese Akitas.

I knew a very knowledgeable and experienced dog owner. He once told me that he would never own a Atkita even if it was a puppy.

Have I mentioned the man with the "faux bulldog" round the corner who encourages him to attack other dogs?

Today I slipped on the ice walking my (abused and nervous) rescue dog, and he came rushing over, dogless, to help me up, despite me warning he would get bitten and that I was ok.
Needless to say...

Aren't faux bulldogs rather little and funny looking to be used as weapons? Mind you most aggressive men tend to be little and funny looking in my experience; and some of those go on to invade Europe or front The Apprentice...

Did he get bitten badly? A lot of dog walker's also take Go-Pro with them to film unruly dog walkers. When I was a kid some hooligan threatened to set his dog on the family dog.

My Dad was bit of nutter despite being well mannered and polite to people. It didn't stop him from hanging around to spot the lad. My Dad gave him a headbutt and broke his nose.

He told his Dad, he came round my Dad sorted him out also. He said he get his friend to sort him who turned out to be my favourite uncle who knew how to fight and shoot.

My uncle sorted the bloke and my uncle sorted out his wife 4 night's a week.

He is only an oversized chihuahua/pom type of thing and the man had his tracksuit tucked into his socks, (dick uniform) so only his pride was hurt. Hooray for karma.

No, big burly things. Mongrels bred for aggression, and only owned by the wife beating, weed reeking, street spitting sort.

I know the type and will only fight in large numbers and will use blades if it was one on one.

when I was young we had a German Shepherd and a tiny fluffy toy dog.

The German Shepherd was terrified of the small dog that yapped at her feet.

The strange thing about dogs is that they have no concept of how big or small other dogs are, but if you give one of them a very slightly smaller chicken drumstick it causes ructions.
