I find the YouTube channel oddly satisfying as the owner takes double decker bus trips throughout London so you don't have to.

His trip from Golders Green to central London during Xmas is terrifying when you see how crowded I'd forgotten it is.

Bizarre..I look at Superyatch videos and now never want to go on one and overnight train journeys with comfy beds I never want to set foot on.

I'm not sure I even want to go on a plane now when I see other dreadful boring humanity.

Maybe I'll wait until you can be de-materialized like in Star Trek and appear somewhere else.

If I want to look at cesspits, I can do that at Zoom meeting. I just ask my friends to point their camera's out their windows.

Give me the remote countryside any time.

I love the Mediterranean area and also have an interest in Classical History; during lockdown I used these sorts of channels to have a nose around Greek Islands, Italian villages, ruins etc. I missed my travel (that sounds too grand actually - holidays!), and it is also harder now with small children.

So totally get why you may find the virtual Hedda sat atop a London open top bus!

These channels are a great way to see the world. Doesn't beat the real thing, but when you can't have champagne prosecco does the job...
