Watching it for the Nth time and I find myself thinking something I thought I'd never say...
They don't make films like this anymore.
I'm a bit biased as I adore Bette Davis and everyone said my dear Mum used to look very like her.
But why? Why don't they make films like this anymore?
The Banshees is of similar quality though very different.
Please someone make a lovely, weepy, romantic, lovely film.
And please someone find some stars like Bette.
Or Marlene Detrich.
