The Times covers the acquittal of a police officer falsely accused of RAPE by mentioning, in a small piece on P19, that he "tried to hide his job". EXCUSE ME! This Editorial habit of only ever fitting the agenda ("it's a good story") should NOT disguise the truth. The man had his first trial scrapped (Covid); the second failed and a third decided by the CPS not to be pursued.
OK this is mentioned (dismissively) in the story but since nobody else seems to read more than headlines today, the Editor is well aware of the implication.
Truly shocking and another example of the moral decline of all media.
