TOPIC: Well done Rishi!
#231252
Well done Rishi! 2 Years, 3 Months ago
By asserting your support for the UK to kill people, you will win millions of votes from similar supporters of the Not In My Back Yard army.
Those who reject any asylum seekers (or those who just want a better life) will be sent to another country or, preferably, drowned.
You are clearly stating - getting votes is more important than helping human beings.
No vote from me, Mate.
Mind you, neither any other politicians in this nasty little country.

Horrible nasty vile policy. And they must stop conflating asylum seekers with illegal migrants. Their case has not yet been decided, and now apparently won't be here. Wankers.

I don't think they are allowed to send asylum seekers straight back, so they will just ask everyone "are you seeking asylum?" and they will all answer yes, and the economic migration can continue exactly as before, except that Rishi has bagged himself votes from the stupid.

The purpose of the legislation is to effect a "break" on asylum seekers rights to claim asylum, and remove them from our Island. So sending them straight back is what they wish to do. The legislation is of course unworkable in reality and our Government doesn't fund our borders appropriately, so it won't happen. But what does it say about the mindset of the nasty cabal in Whitehall?

The government are powerless and they know it. However there's a law they can lockup the population under house arrest; for no reason whatsoever.

Rather like stupid Brexit and stupid Covid, it's media hyping a trivial problem and encouraging extreme reaction (and then condemning it - whatever is a good story). But it's the under current I hate. The lack of basic decency. We simply cannot allow humanity to ignore decency. I know few would agree with my Open All Borders opinion - for all countries to allow anyone who wants to enter it to do so and to deal with them in a decent way; supporting them (and stopping crime, as we do). But I think it's time humanity supported humanity, not only those that fit certain biased criteria.

You see it's quite simple - the way to stop people smuggling is to allow freedom of entry to our country. Fine - check entries thoroughly. Fine - hold potential criminals whilst examining them. But stop people dying in boats by giving them access. If they get to Europe they should get to the UK. Of course, since Brexit we are no longer a part of Europe and don't want anyone here except those prepared to spend money and make us all fatter and richer. Says it all really.

But it does really confuse me. Surely a ferry four times a day coming from Calais direct to an immigration centre near Folkestone would save millions in pointless coastguard and police action. Would save 100% of sea deaths. Would put the smugglers out of business. Is humane, efficient, sensible. Not even touching on whether or not people would be allowed to stay in the UK or shipped to Rwanda or whatever. Someone please explain - why not?
