TOPIC: HS2 delay
#231438

HS2 delay 2 Years, 3 Months ago
This delay was inevitable and will be extended further. Migrant problems, cost of living increases etc. - will see to that.

As well as our £2,500+ billion National Debt - on which the interest is astronomical; it's also rising monthly in line with budget deficits.

Embarking on a non-essential HS2 project - which will cost c£100 billion - was foolhardy and short-sighted; we just can't afford it.

Land owners and property developers will need the green belt and brown land for any new housing stock.

I can't wait for the new builds to flood and then I can 'I told you so'.

Interest alone on our National Debt costs us £10,000 million a month; that's £10 billion.

Major spending initiatives will be put on hold or cancelled. Or we could borrow more!
