I have SO many clocks 2 Years, 2 Months ago
in my house, many not radio controlled. So every Time Change it takes me HOURS to move the time forwards/backwards.

Why don't you get rid of some clocks? Will free up time to enjoy the sunshine...

You'll find, as you move into your 60s let alone 70s, you tend to accumulate clocks (often from dying friends).
I think it's a constant intimation of mortality.
I have about 30 clocks now (five in my bedroom alone; where I hope to spot my exact time of demise just before I do).

The peril, it seems to me, in this approach is: what if the five clocks don't keep the exact same time? Existentially, this could be troubling...

I have one in kitchen, one in living on top of mantle and a one in the garden.

Some clocks can seem to go out of synch maybe some use more battery power than other's.

I have lots of watches..sort of collected them for a while including a CARTIER BOUGHT FOR ME BY kIT lAMBERT IN LIEU OF WAGES (THEY TOOK HIS harrod's card away just after )

I never wear them as jewelry gets on my nerves.

Just one clock (my lovely antique one from my Irish aunt fell of a shelf and smashed )..just a USB digital clock which does the trick,

There was once elderly gentleman I know, kept 2 clocks one GMT and one BST. He still got up to wear a suit and tie. He never accepted that he had retired.

I like how some people have several clocks above the names of worlds capital's on a wall.

I hope nobody hates me enough to leave me a clock. I cant bear ticking.

I only have two. One is a time teaching one that says "ten to" etc and the other one tweets bird noises in French, both for teaching purposes only, and kept switched off.

Oh, and possibly a hideous gilt thing you get for weddings, but it has never been out of the box.
I might leave it to Mr King.

I once had 3 clocks in my front room, they were house warming presents. I didn't mind the ticking however some guests did. I do prefer noisy clocks over ABBA and bubblegum music.

You could put the clock on someone's head and try and shoot the clock off the bonce.

I could hit it from Jupiter. It is enormous and currently lurking in the attic along with the silver bon bon dishes, which were even more baffling.

And please, before Barney and his imaginary pals tell me how ungrateful I am, I already know, and am exceedingly unbothered.

My mother was like that Honey. I remember her moaning at a clock she got from Christmas, it did not suit the decor they had. However my father did finally using it in his study. He couldn't throw anything away. Even then the clock looked out of place. I think the nude paintings he had might have something to do with it.

Bon Bon dishes do make good spittoons. If you were thinking of taking up chewing tobacco.
