TOPIC: Michael Vaughan

Someone else using the law to break the law - Michael had his life and career ruined due to the law allowing false allegations to turn into a court case. I hope and assume the false accuser (like "Stormy" in the USA not to mention Ghastly Giuffre) get to discover what using the law to break the law ends up as.

It seems the BBC is in talks to have him return. Is it too much to hope that the tide may be turning? An allegation of this nature used to finish careers in the public eye, whether proven or not.

Sadly - don't hold your breath WYOT; the tabloids would find that another way to blast the BBC, which obeys the media majority. The alleged (and denied) remark struck me as a jokey, rather complimentary one. "Goodness me, you lot are beating us nice white boys!". the world has simply changed - many believe for the better. I watched Jimmy Savile cheer up a suicidal lady with exactly that sort of humour. But the nurses hated him and were offended - mainly because it was taking away their cigarette break. That's the reality these days; use condemning jokes to take time off to kill yourself.

I can't stand cricket, but this popped on a research on Michael Vaughan.

There's a double standard here.
