Creepy teacher. 2 Years, 2 Months ago
I do remember one or two questionable teachers in my school and a caretaker who went to prison for noncing.

I still have no idea why people let strangers look after their children.

We didn't let our 9 year old stay over at a schoolfriend's house on a sleepover because we don't know the parents beyond saying hello to the mum at the school gate and the dad not at all. They also have a 13 year old son we don't know. But other parents were fine with it.

I'm sorry but it is the same as letting your child stay over at a random stranger's house up the road. Most parents seem to think if the children know one another it is okay. I find that incredible.

The real risk to children is in this kind of situation, not from elderly pop stars monitored in a hostel or asylum seekers...

I remember reading a case in Canada where there was sleepover. The brother to the sister who arranged the sleepover; ended up molesting the girls even his own sister. You even hear father's do it at sleepovers by lacing the soda drinks or party food.

You did well to decline!

I was gutted I couldn't do the cubs and scouts as a kid, my dad didn't trust nor liked the look of the scoutmaster. I was upset because all my friends were in scouts and I wasn't. However looking back, the scoutmaster did look a dick in his uniform.

I think what put them off is before I was born a scoutmaster from another troop was done for molesting most of the lads.

I was castigated on my first night at Cubs because my socks kept falling down, by a red faced disciplinarian so I never went back
