Its not the first and last time a disgruntled employee will go postal. It was a phenomenon about 40 years ago.

Sorry GM but for me these "people have always done shit and will always do shit with whatever weapon comes to hand" arguments sound so thin to me now.

People are being killed all the time now in the States because of ready gun access - and yes people being people. The latter we ain't got a hope of sorting now. The former more so; although there are probably so many automatic weapons out there thid may also now be impossible.

So you think muskets are safer? The gun Kid Rock used to Bud Light uses handgun rounds.

Yes because the gunman can kill less people with a musket than the latest automatic-whatever-they-are-called before he is taken out. Much safer.

Before the American Independence about 50 years or so. A man from Norfolk invented the Puckle gun.

I wouldn't go near the States now..used to love it. Times Square is like Disney Land, once was shocking but interesting. 400 million guns ..no thank you.

I know many New Yorkers who avoid Manhattan not because of guns but because of people stabbing each other on subways or people getting pushed on the tracks.

Unprovoked attacks were rare but now they are the norm in many cities.

Where are the 400 million shootings?

We better have those 'safety' muskets that Wyot mentioned.
