What an unattractive character he seems - declaring he "no longer has a brother". Whatever his brother has or hasn't done, he remains his brother. I assume he is saying this because of his career, and the public pressure.

You will regret it Phil, when the TV ignores you, and you are old and ill and facing what we all have to face...

I suspect your assumption is incorrect WYOT: I would not be surprised if his extreme reaction was an attempt to show that there is no way he, Philip, could ever do such an appalling thing.
