Dick Van Dyke has certainly looked after himself despite being an alcoholic but he could hide it well.

I have heard a few stories about the brothers.

His brother Jerry Van Dyke was very eccentric but excellent as Luther in Coach.

Jerry Van Dyke was terrible when drunk and losing in the Las Vegas casinos, I think he was banned from a few also.

However he did lose a daughter to suicide and when she was a porn star it affected him badly. Jerry was a womaniser also even when he had a young family.
