Best Sports Deal Ever 2 Years, 1 Month ago

A couple of decades ago, property investors from America bought Manchester United - with borrowed money.

They put in a few million - but raised the rest of the purchase price by mortgaging
the stadium, future ticket sales etc.

Soon their reward will be massive (sale figure; £5bn). Perhaps the best/biggest and most profitable sports transaction for years.

God help us when you do say something that your own brain has come to; but I suspect, for very sound reasons, you run scared from conveying messages from that troubled orb...
