Does anyone else not currently play but is getting intrigued by video games? We mention most forms of entertainment here but not the single biggest selling form on the planet by some margin:

Now my children are getting a bit older they may be the excuse I need!!

JK if Entertainment USA was still running you would need to feature the games developers over the Princes & Bon Jovis of this world now

I do play retro games from time to time on my browser Wyot whilst doing my invoices. Mainly the NES or Sega, there's some nostalgia for me. Despite working 40+ hours a week in the 80's a few friends would play a NES. I was still a youth.

I did play the Oregon Trail recently online.

Video games are for children, the bored and people unable to appreciate the finer things of life. Like say - the arts, music, culture, travel and history. But only children get a pass for acceptability, because they're encountering some new - for a year or so.

Until they embark on wiser and more educational paths and character building pursuits.🤔

That's a good idea GM. I may try some retro gaming while I try and persuade Mrs Wyot that a PlayStation 5 (or whatever!) is both a sound financial investment and educational...

Oh they are an art form as well Barney. The art may not appeal to a sophisticated world-traveller and constant consumer of high art such as yourself, but that is beside the point.

I think in China they monitor your online game usage.
