Yet another stupid media storm in a teacup with stupid Labour using any excuse to knock the stupid Tories over something so trivial and stupid which only takes the focus away from real problems like shipping immigrants out of the country.

Politics is a filthy business with lies, briefing against, innuendo, made-up stories and subterfuge. Only exceptional politicians survive - like Thatcher, Wilson and Churchill; and unlike Truss, Johnson and Corbyn.

The one thing I can't understand or have seen explained is, what was wrong with asking if it was possible to take private speed awareness course? She is a very busy cabinet minister and so that would have been useful for her to do if available. She couldn't know if anything was possible without asking? Politicians often get slammed for not asking questions, double standards

Exactly- why should she not be treated differently she is the Home Secretary. And she was not trying to avoid her course. Total nonsense.
