Schofield 2 Years ago
How unpleasant it all is. Every D lister under the sun queuing up to say what an appalling human being Schofield has always been.

I personally couldn't care less who fronts that vacuous show or about the career of Mr Schofield.

But I do care that our society has become so binary, simplistic and unpleasant. I have a feeling that the route cause may be what I am tapping this post out on: smartphones.

I was delivering an order at a pub early this morning who had GB News on. Gammon Holmes couldn't wait to get his claws out and was wetting himself when he making remarks about Schofield. I read a lot things that Philip Schofield is a groomer to the apprentice show runner. If that was true wouldn't the police be knocking on his drum?

Why people watch daytime TV is a complete mystery to me.

Mr Holmes is clearly not a contented person. What has happened to saying nothing if you have nothing kind to say?

Nobody cares about daytime TV or its presenters.

Yet, ironically, a lot of people seem to be interested!

This thread isn't about daytime TV or its presenters Barney, if this is what you are getting at. It is about the state of public discourse and commentary. Schofield is an incidental example.

2 incidents put me off him..

his presenting of a cobbled list of "pedos" to David Cameron and grilling Jeremy Corbyn relentlessly while a few days later gushing over Boris Johnson.

he had a good run for a lightweight.

Re:Schofield 2 Years ago
Lady Colin Campbell has been having a go at him in recent videos on YouTube. In one she claims that she was proceeding down the red carpet - or maybe along a corridor, can't remember - at some function, followed by one of her sons, when someone had barged into her and almost knocked her over. It was Phillip Schofield. Her son had told her that he'd had the impression that Schofield had given her a deliberate shove to try to knock her down. She had apparently crossed swords with him verbally on other occasions.

And before anyone says it, I don't know why I watch Lady Colin Campbell either! Actually, not regularly, just occasionally. She is very articulate and seems as sharp as a tack (also with her tongue).

The Daily Record is claiming that Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby fell out because Phillip went over Holly's head to scupper her plans for an all-female cast and crew on International Women's Day. (Warning: video contains lots of fake smiles.)

I take it all back Barney - this thread it appears is all about Schofield and day time TV. The people have spoken!

Re:Schofield 2 Years ago
Seems to me his mistake was the way he handled things and lying to ITV bosses.
