One of the best but also one of the nicest. Many stories to tell which I will do in time.

I saw her live a few times, she was fantastic live and her voice was better live than on the albums.

I once had to interview her in the States - Texas I think - and she had a terrible cold. "How on earth can you perform tonight?" I asked. "The show must go on darling". "But at least you could have postponed this interview and stayed in bed". "I would never postpone an interview with you darling; and I would never stay in bed with you".
Her show that night was the best I'd ever seen. How she did it, God knows.

Was the interview for your U.S radio show or Entertainment USA?
