Amazing how predictable the media coverage of the Schofield episode has been. Now we shall see whether the False Allegations Industry can kick in with greedy blackmailers, some of whom will never even have met Schofield, claiming they were raped or groomed for under age sex. Supported by police (obeying the media) and the law (obeying the media) and the public (we all LOVE a great story - best of all hypocrisy) and bent lawyers (demanding money with menaces). Over all - KARMA kicks in (and will do so again and again).
I would imagine, if his past history is anything to go by, he's poised to visit Tim Schofield in prison in order to "discover" whether Tim was raped several times when he was 12 by his brother who is no longer a brother. Now THAT would be a story worthy of a TV show.
He will be on it, but considering tactics.
Even he cannot go jumping in to attack the hand that has fed him so well over the years - he is part of its toxic culture and was there for years sowing his poisonous seeds
Whatever the case even GBNews are following the MSM narrative saying Schofield first met the lad when he was 15....
He did not.
He met him when he was 10
This is common knowledge with the photos from that time all over the place.
Not that I'm saying they did anything ..
Anyway the lad signed a non disclosure for a huge amount.
Was it worth it?
Anyway Schofield is still a hero and one of the bravest men on TV for coming out....by letting Holly Willoughby read out his statement while he was say right next to her.
I came here to read the comments and it did't disappoint. Does anyone actually believe that Schofield did anything wrong? I feel sorry for his wife and kids and the chap he's had the affair with. Its pretty obvious that hes tried to control the narrative and its come back to bite him on the arse!

It's immoral but not illegal.
Agreed, but the inevitable speculation from some on here about potential false allegations sounds very defensive. Nobody knows what he got up to but the fact remains, he's not as nice as he portrays himself once the cameras are off.
Few TV presenters are the same off-camera, as the pressure gets to them. Because of the uncertainty as to what'll happen during a live program and the concern about how to respond to unexpected comments/answers. There's nothing to suggest that Scofield was any different, to others, in that respect.
Nobody knows what he got up to but the fact remains, he's not as nice as he portrays himself once the cameras are off.
Perhaps Angel but that should be it shouldn't it? And not a news story.
Instead we endure interminable headlines intimating he is a monster. Yes if I was interested I could cast judgment and say what he admitted he has done is immoral.
But what would motivate me to do so? He is a stranger to me. I am indifferent to Schofield's morality.
The damnation and judgment of him is also morally wrong as well as hypocritical. Careers finished because of moral lapses? Lives ruined.
Really? Let us be careful what we tolerate. If I were religious I would be referencing the casting of stones...

So about 90% of all celebrities then. They are only human not Gods.
