TOPIC: Waco, Texas

Waco, Texas 2 Years ago
Thirty years ago, 86 people died at the seige by US agents. A seemingly suspicious cult was discovered to have occupied a compound.

Information was almost non-existent - meaning that decisions were badly made. Although weaponry was believed to be on site.

Communes - of those desiring to withdraw from a dangerous world - are still thought unacceptable. Though rats and mediocrities continue to win/run the race.

David Koresh, was a mad man and an utter nonce. He was well known across Texas way before he became a cult leader.

I used to go to Texas a lot Barney, I have met some pleasant people to the complete mad...I suppose it's like anywhere.

I think your implied conclusions facile Barney.

The cult members were tipped off because of a reporter that the feds were on their way. The feds had a warrant to search and arrest because they believed the group was stockpiling illegal weapons.

Which clearly they were, as they vigorously opened fire on the feds when they arrived; rather than answering the door in a constructive manner, putting the kettle on and addressing the authorities concerns.

The only ones responsible for the mass deaths were the violent nutters inside the compound.
