I have made a treehouse for the birds. They have got a platform across the tree, a sheltered bit to sit in, covered dining area, nuts hanging from the branches, and plastic sheeting to collect rainwater and pour it into their bowl.

In return, they crap on the washing, drive me insane with their horrible repetitive noises, and bang angrily on the window if I am slightly late with their breakfast order.

The youth of today.

I wish I could keep the wood pigeons away. They are HUGE because they eat the seed until they can barely waddle around the garden. Then the jackdaws turn up with their high-pitched squawking. I want more robins and other smaller birds to get their share!

I don't mind the pigeons enjoying the food; I just wish they wouldn't then shit on the bird table. Sooo rude.
