Alexandra Tolstoy debanked by NatWest 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Many years ago - I hadn't realised how long ago it was, 20 years - there was a splash in Hello Magazine about a beautiful English aristocrat and horse lover called Alexandra Tolstoy marrying a handsome but penniless Russian horseman called Shamil Galimzyanov. It seems that they had lived in a small apartment in Moscow, but a few years later she had cheated on him and left him for a Russian oligarch called Sergei Pugachev, embarking on a life of fabulous wealth. She had also managed to evict the horseman from the Moscow apartment. She had then left Pugachev after he had become violent towards her.

All you need to know about Sergei Pugachev and Alexandra Tolstoy

In love with my Cossack guide

She has apparently had her accounts closed by NatWest like Nigel Farage.

I can't understand it either, it's my hard earned money. I am self employed...if the government didn't encourage contactless payments and CBCD we would be okay. However the times are changing they want full control over us.

We are ruled by egomaniacs.

If GM is correct and we catapult to a cashless society a bank account will be a must for everyone.

The government can open it's own bank..the biggest most successful one in OZ until sold off was government owned.

# I have had a business account closed off in OZ..no reason given. Happy now with a building society run by..the police

We won't be catapulted in to a cashless society but blind sided and phased in to it.

This banking thing has got the feel to me of one of those strange stories the media fix on for a few weeks and then vanish without trace...
