TOPIC: Huw Edwards

Huw Edwards 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Yes we all knew last week and now the bullets must start to be shot at those, who for malicious reasons by those publications and social media cretins, tried to destroy the BBC because the licence fee means they do not have to pander to rich corporations and can be honest in their broadcasting.
I shall write about this shocking, abominable behaviour at far greater length but, for now, I wish Huw well and hope he will soon be, again, the No1 British newsreader.
It was so predictable - but has now become a window into the False Allegations Industry. Strangely enough the only people to come out of this appalling affair well are British Police who did their duty well, fast and with competence. All praise to them.
And please BBC re-instate him the moment he is able again to fulfill his duties.

Very belatedly, the moral arbiters are starting to arbitrate. Good old Guardian ('Why are you mentioning them?' I hear, well, one person cry. Because they're damned hypocrites, that's why) finally snaps into activity: www.theguardian.com/media/2023/jul/12/su...eport-on-huw-edwards

Better late than never, you bourgeois cowards.

An attempted assassination attempt by Rupert Murdoch on the BBC has failed. Let's hope Huw makes a full recovery. Murdoch is a poison to this country.

It will certainly cause some deficit to the BBC, the people have had enough of media deceit.

I don't like the term "evasion" legacy media is dying. YouTube and other streaming platforms is the new norm. Rumble is a good alternative to Youtube if you want to see a lot of unfiltered news. I can't get any TV reception or FM/AM where I live. You can stream channels online and read papers by the click of a button.

Huw Edwards wife is probably filing for divorce as we speak. She will no doubt give some exclusives.

Commentators appear not to have spotted two essential points in this.
First - the entire episode only happened through the media desire for A GREAT STORY (it wasn't). And one that helped damage the BBC would be even better.
Second - like Phillip Schofield (ITV) the False Allegations Industry will provoke numerous other chancers prepared to lie or exaggerate in order to get money or sympathy or fame or attention or revenge or compensation - or even, the majority, who are genuinely deluded due to media coverage. And Huw, like Phil, will probably end his life in prison. As thousands of innocent men and women are doing quietly and without attention.

Why will Phil and Huw wind up in prison in the first place?

Terrible for them if likely.

Because media coverage provokes false allegations ("I was under age"/"I was raped") Barney.

and oddly my favourite OZ TV station SBS after producing an elaborate 'news" item yesterday on the BBC "scandal" are strangely silent.

If I crane my neck here in Bondi I can see the Murdoch compound high on a hill where young Lachlan who now oversees The Sun, Fox News etc from a reputed high tech bunker lives a good life free of the strife News Corp causes in the USA and the UK.

Huw Edwards is married to Vicky Flind, a television producer, whose credits include editing 'This Week' and 'Peston'. The couple live in Dulwich, London, and have five children. Edwards is a Christian and is a weekly churchgoer. He has stated that he has had bouts of depression since 2002.

Edwards is also an amateur organist, taught to play at a chapel in Llanelli, and occasionally plays at the Jewin Welsh Presbyterian Chapel in Clerkenwell, north London.

The most highly paid BBC News presenter Edwards was paid £550,000–£599,999 for several years. His salary was reduced voluntarily in the light of gender pay differences found within the BBC. The Press Gazette announced his new salary to be £520,000–£529,999 as of July 2018. His salary was further reduced in 2019, with his salary in May 2021 reported to be £465,000, and reduced further to £435,000–£439,999 in July 2023.

MWT has been interviewed again by GBNews on this subject (the interviewer seems to think that he's a former "top policeman" or "top cop", which was how he was introduced in the other recent GBNews video), criticising the BBC's handling of the situation, praising the Sun, saying that more accusers are likely to come forward and that the BBC should bring in an external safeguarding expert (who could he possibly be thinking of?). Just before he finishes, he says that the BBC is a "fantastic organisation" with some "brilliant journalists" and that he has some "really good friends" there.

John Simpson seems to be a decent guy.

John Simpson, the BBC’s world affairs editor has speaking to Jeremy Vine on BBC Radio 2. He says wants the “book to be closed” on the matter.

“Can you imagine the fall from grace of somebody like that - from being a hero to millions of people, and then the next moment to be reviled in the way that Huw has been? Imagine the effect on his family or his children, on his wife, or mother?”, he asks.

Simpson goes on to say he believes that the coverage from other parts of the press “feeds into a concerted political campaign in this country against the BBC".

He adds: "It's encouraged by the Murdoch newspapers, by The Telegraph and the Mail group, they want to see effectively the end of the BBC, they want to see it destroyed.”

Always respect true, not fake, victims. Not least millions of true victims of fake media including YT.

While MWT, Adrian Allen et al, carry on pimping the vast and growing UK fake Victims-Industry. For millions more straight-or-gay streetwise teens to fake claim, "MeTooMoreDough" - DOH!

(Note: Arrogant Allen nails Mrs Edwards for not noting Huw's supposed 'child' victim. While Allen fails to note the other victims of the Diana car crash. Her two young boys mentally scarred for life, and Allen's ex-employer victim, Mohammed El Fayed father of dead Dodi.)

Well, without pointing the finger at anybody in particular, it seems to me very likely that Huw Edwards is the victim of a blackmailer.

How encouraging for others considering the same trick to know that their extortion will result in THEM labelled as the victim, and the silly sod who should have known better will be hunted down until they try to top themselves.

The parents are supposedly not taking a payout from The Sun but are for an interview with TalkTV, described by The Independent and The Guardian as The Sun's "sister outlet"/"sister station". The interview is said to be coming out in the next few day. Victoria Derbyshire seems to have been investigating Huw Edwards and other BBC journalists are working on stories about him. If he has been hospitalised for a suicide attempt or because he's a suicide risk, I wouldn't be surprised.
