So it could possibly be your signature? I'm sure you gave out many autographs over the the years so won't recall everything you did... was just curious as there are many faked items for sale on e-bay unfortunately

Top victims trio: Gadd, King, Savile.

Only Everett & Edmonds not (yet) falsely accused?

Signed during Top of the Pops broadcast 1976

Autographs are Gary Glitter. Jimmy Savile. Jonathan King Kenny Everett and Noel Edmonds

Autographs have faded from a gold to a yellow but are still clear

Been in dry storage since 1982

Record is in excellent condition and plays well

Cover is excellent with correct inner

Will send recorded delivery

Hadn't even noticed "my" signature - definitely NOT mine (not my writing).

Probably a fake aimed at ghouls.

I certainly had my doubts JK, and I'm not so sure gold pens were common place then either.

Yes - I certainly signed a lot of stuff in the 70s (usually bared pre-pubescent breasts). Those were the days and a very different era and morality. I was, at the time, believe it or not, one of the biggest pop stars in Britain (owing more to my promotional ability than talent, I admit). These days the only things carrying my signature are police and legal documents - none with a gold ink pen. And the odd (very odd) book.

Wouldn't pre-pubescent breasts be no breasts at all?

One of my sister's was a big autograph collector. She used to trade with them also.

She obtained a few Jimmy Savile autographs at a wrestling convention with her boyfriend at the time, the Savile signature looks a dud; also it looks it looks nothing I saw when I looked at her vast collection of autographs.

The seller on eBay is trolling.

The bidding is currently at £31. Not bad for a forgery!
