I hate almost everything he stands for but would definitely vote for him in 2024 if I was an American citizen.

don't know why..he never did anything apart from tax cuts for the rich.

Besides Biden is Wall Street's preferred candidate which will govern the insane amounts of money that flow in for candidates.

If Trump gets in the war in Ukraine, will be over in a few days. This is because he will stop the funding of weapons to Ukraine, and since the US provides about 93% of their arms, they are going to be screwed. This will accelerate the inevitable concession of land from Ukraine to Russia rather than continue losing thousands more lives and affecting the economies of the rest of the world for months and years to come.

I think you may be falling for some media exagerration of Trump's relationship with Russia. His administration implemented many aggressive actions towards Russia; including sanctions because of rising Russian aggression in Ukraine. Too simple a narrative for me Robbie.

I would like to understand why you would vote for Trump JK?

Like anti-war JFK.

If any Pres tries to stop the U$ Warmongers' p$ycho military meal-ticket; they'll soon stop a CIA bullet.

And then blame a fake media ready-made patsy like Oswald, to again fool their shallow ignorant sheeple.

Because I admire the way he's fighting the media attack and, indeed, beat them last time but one around.

I suppose his methods of fighting could be admired but doesn't he use the media as much as fight it? Doesn't he start the fight as much as finish it? And on it goes...

That's one thing I admire. Tony Blair started it and several have been aware - Boris, for example, and Zelensky. But nobody has had to put up with as much as Trump and these latest stupid charges are the tipping point. I don't think Presidents or Prime Ministers have much impact anyway and despite his bigotted expressed policies, Trump was in the end no worse than most others. I'd vote for him just to put two fingers up to the media. Actually I probably wouldn't - as in the UK, I won't ever vote again - democracy doesn't work.

I think you are correct about the limited real power and influence (lack of) modern leaders have in this global world; but underestimate (or perhaps don't give it as much weight as I do) the damage done to society by coarse, nasty, divisive vulgarians like Trump.

That sort of rhetoric just leads to violence and division. So anyone who doesn't act like that (yes GM even a dozy Joe Biden!) is my preference.

I don't care how good Trump is at manipulating media. But can appreciate how effective he is at it.

I don't think he is good at manipulating the press..it's a fantasy.

he's good at uniting people who "hate the liberals" rather than any policy he actually introduced.

there are millions OF Americans who think anyone who is to the slight left of Ghengis Khan is a "communist".

it's bizarre .

A clearer way to put it is that I think he cleverly uses the media coverage that he gets to - as you say - unite and rally "liberal haters".

It is bizarre that in large swathes of the US anyone who is not a gun-tooting reactionary is a "commie".

Given that I generally find the company of people who "think" like this dull I think I could only possibly live somewhere like New York...

But that is of course because I am a Liberal wishy-washy elitist communist ...

I lived in NYC for 2 years and loved it..visited many times (even met JK there but he wouldn't remember ).

Went on a Greyhound Bus from NYC to LA at age 19..what a way to see the glorious USA but Texas terrified me (only met lovely Texans since ).

I love Texas, I didn't like NYC or NY but I had a good job and my daughters live are born and bred there. I hate L.A also the West Coast in general TBH.

I love Texas, countryside of Vermont, the people in Alabama and driving is smooth there, the landscapes of Arizona, Alaska for the cabins, Rockies of Colorado and the beauty and the grizzly bears of Idaho.

Hopefully Wyot, might feed me to the bears when I am dead my skull and crossbones on a mantle or use as a desk tidy.
