The combination of politicians, lawyers and media working together is truly terrifying. ALL these stupid charges are so trivial and unimportant, ranging from paying off a False Accuser (always a mistake - I was urged to do so by my own lawyers in 2001 and refused to do so) to insisting an election result was wrong (I don't think it was, but suspect both sides, like Ukraine/Russia, were behaving badly) - they virtually guarantee an agenda pursued.
Of course they could not dare pursue more serious claims (murder? rape?) as they could very clearly be disproved and alternative charges against the agenda plotters could be brought after acquittal (as really ought to start happening in fake sex claims, as with Carl Beech).
If Trump is guilty of every single charge - who cares? The man was an elected President. We all make mistakes, especially trivial ones.
As I say, I cannot stand Trump, hate most of his policies and suspect, were I to meet him, I wouldn't like him (unlike Boris who I also disagree with but I suspect I would enjoy encounters). But the attacks on him are simply blatant examples of everything that has gone wrong with society today.
God almighty, next we'll see countries and churches believing False Accusers and saying lies were "vanishingly rare", especially when against dead people, making vast sums in compensation for liars. NEVER!!!!
Just let me make this clear. I think Biden is a better President than Trump was. But I don't think elected leaders have much to do in a democracy; they are just figureheads. Benign Dictators, if decent and able, are far better - even monarchs as shown by both our Queen and I suspect current King, if only they had the power to run things.
But that doesn't stop me admiring Trump's courage and skill at fighting the media and the majority. Full of admiration and 100% on his side over every single one of these charges (especially the "paying a porn star" one).
I said before the (Republican) "establishment" will finish off Trump with a stake through the heart.

Yes Hedda my dear; I agree Trump is a con artiste and as you know I'm no fan and the galvanisation of the hateful is further proof that simplification is the weapon of the Devil which is how and why Trump, Farage, Boris, Putin, Paddington Bear and the rest are succeeding - I think Blair perfected it (with Campbell). The art of using the media's own tactics to beat it. I think Trump will win this one and will be re-elected President - at which point he will enact laws to stop this kind of legal manipulation for political and media ends (ironically, the very art he has mastered).
