to think, whilst being horrified by the abuse and killing of a small child, that the inflation and exaggeration of the terrible crime should NOT influencing Judges. Yes it's terrible but for God's sake, let's have some decency and kindness towards both mother and step father. We all know the "aggravating factors" that made the Judge give such a massive sentence is pure media, police and legal hype. Terrible crime. But let's be humane and try for rehabilitation, restoration, education, therapy, treatment. 28 years? 10 years?
